Carter, put the chemicals down!! |
Weekly Update for FEB. 4th to 8th:
We have been doing pretty simple experiments, to get used to doing the scientific method. You really must know the steps to this method to be able to keep going onto harder experiments. Please make sure you know the steps and understand them, not just memorize their names!
We will have a tiny quiz on all of the things we have learned so far: the three states of matter, scientific method, APE questions, etc. Just review your notes and you will be fine!
Please keep up with your homework. I think the homework you owe me is:
7/8A - "The Ups and Downs of Thermometers" - Experiment written up FULLY, and
8's - the "Take it Further Question". (due Monday)
7B/C - "Molecules in Motion" Questions 1, 2, 3 and 4 AND (past due)
"The Ups and Downs of Thermometers" - Experiment Written up (due today)
7D - "The Process of Dissolving" Experiment - Questions only (due today)
8B - "The Ups and Downs of Thermometers" - Experiment written up (due today)
8C - "The Process of Dissolving" Experiment - Questions only. (past due)
8D - "Gummy Bear" Experiment, written up and
"The Ups and Downs of Thermometers" (both due Tuesday)
Come and see me during Science Make-Up Class if any of this looks strange to you!
The next Science Make Up Class will be: Wednesday Feb. 6th. If you have any questions, please come see me then.
New NOTE you may want: This is the format I want when I say, "Written Up", or Written up FULLY."

Well done, everyone!!! Keep up the great work!
