Class 7/8A Language:
We will work on our novel studies in the morning. If you are finished the work I requested, then it's Language Games time!
Class 7/8A Science:
Please decide if you are doing a "Biome in a Box" (like a diorama of a Biome) OR a model ecosystem. If it is the latter, and you can bring in a large, clear plastic box or a fish tank (10 gallons+) that would be fantastic.
Class 7/8A Advisory:
A HUGE thank you to Mr. Dave Beynon for coming in today and speaking to us about being an author! Wow! He is an inspiration for all of us to pursue your dreams!
A big thank you also to Abby, Cole and Jimmy for their great presentations to the class. They were wonderfully done. Abby, you aren't going to be a sculptor, you ARE a sculptor. Jimmy, you love math and need to figure out the best way to make it your living (like work for NASA maybe?!?!) even though you would make a great doctor, too. Cole, I will look forward to hearing my husband yelling, "GO NEWTON!! Pass it up the side!!!!" when he is sitting in front of the TV, watching an NBA game in a few years! (If I give you an A, will you give him tickets to a game sometime?!?)
Next week, we will be inspired by Lane and ... any volunteers??
